If you prefer direct weapon positioning

Slayer’s toolkit makes distance and direction particularly visible. Explosive Shot fires forward and can hit close targets with multiple pellets. Minefield backs you away while leaving hazards ahead. Silver Bolt chooses the highest-health enemy in range, so it is not a generic low-health finisher.

If you want moving casts and deliberate bursts

Inquisitor combines actions that can continue while moving with empowered attacks that reward a longer commitment. Condemn supplies damage and a slow on the move. Rapture’s commanded detonation, Light’s Wrath’s burning sun and Radiant Burst’s moving projectile give you distinct timing and positioning decisions.

If you enjoy summons and changing states

Witch combines random-seeking frogs, a spider swarm, a moving raven channel and thorns under nearby enemies. Feline Communion temporarily changes form and exposes Crooked Path. Those rules create a different play scene from firing a single aimed weapon; summoned damage also has exceptions to ordinary stagger behavior.

What is shared regardless of the choice

Every class uses the same broad defensive vocabulary: active Evade, held Guard, Sprint and double jump. Energy and Focus remain distinct resources, and all must deal with normal, silver and gold enemy control rules. The sources do not support a measured class ranking or a guarantee that one archetype is always easiest.
