The village connects one attempt to the next
Quillgrave is Talebound’s preparation hub. Its four specialists handle persistent improvements, Nib connects run earnings with rewards and cosmetics, and the Book of Shadows starts another tale. The hub therefore contains several progression systems, rather than one universal vendor accepting a single currency.

Find and claim the reward chest
- Go to the town square where the Outfitter, Arcanist and Antiquarian are grouped in the PTR report.
- Locate Nib, the grummle merchant.
- The attempt’s reward chest appears beside him. Open it to review the resources earned.
Find the Book of Shadows
The firsthand report places the book beyond the library, up stairs leading toward a cave. The interface handles difficulty selection and then story selection. Its preview includes four story icons, but the October demo announcement specifically listed only three playable stories.
The reported Mythic unlock is completing the Final Confrontation on Heroic. Normal, Veteran and Heroic were listed in the demo announcement; the book’s visible preview options should be read with that test’s availability in mind.
