Talebound activity requirements

The PTR contains Trading Post activities for drinking potions, gathering Ducats and solving puzzle chests. The seven records below each list 100 Travel Points. Their thresholds describe what the database tracks; they do not establish which activities are offered together in a live month.

Use the record ID when comparing reports. One indexed URL labels activity 1025 as a 2,500-Ducat task while its objective and counter say 5,000. The 2,500 threshold belongs to the separate record 1024; the table follows the matching objective and counter.

What each counter measures

The potion records describe consumption inside the Tales of the Storyteller. They do not provide a verified list of eligible potion subtypes. Buying an Arcanist formula and using a potion are different actions, so check the activity counter after the first use rather than assuming an upgrade purchase grants credit.

Ducat tasks count acquisition. A listed requirement to acquire 5,000 Ducats does not instruct you to spend 5,000 Bound Silver, buy an item from Nib or make a Traveling Raven exchange. Puzzle tasks refer to solving puzzle chests in any tale; a tale clear and a puzzle-chest interaction have separate objectives.

Travel Points, Tender and Bound Silver

The reward field says Travel Points. It should not be relabeled as 100 Trader’s Tender or 100 Bound Silver. Those names refer to different progress or currency systems, and these records do not state a direct exchange rate.

Before planning around a task, open the Traveler’s Log on the client you are actually using. Confirm its title, active period, objective and remaining progress there. The presence of an indexed PTR record alone cannot tell you a current month’s activity lineup, whether related thresholds grant credit together, or whether an objective can be repeated.

Keep a useful progress reference

This Talebound Trading Post reference keeps the requirements separate from the mode’s permanent achievement rewards. Choose the activity shown in your own log, and use the linked gameplay references to understand the action it asks for.

  1. Match the activity’s name and required count to the table, then check the individual linked record if a guide gives a different number.
  2. Record the starting counter before using a potion, collecting Ducats or solving a puzzle chest.
  3. After the action, compare the counter in the Traveler’s Log. If it does not move, note the client build and exact activity instead of assuming all Talebound progress shares the same trigger.

Frequently asked questions

Do these activities give 100 Trader’s Tender each?

The indexed reward is 100 Travel Points. These records do not state a 100-Tender payout or a direct currency conversion.

Can I finish the 15- and 30-chest activities at the same time?

The database shows separate records. It does not verify that both are active together or how their progress is combined in a live month; check your Traveler’s Log.

Is the Ducat threshold 2,500 or 5,000?

Both thresholds have separate records: 1024 lists 2,500 and 1025 lists 5,000. An indexed 1025 URL retains a different title, so use the objective and counter rather than the URL wording alone.
