Three ultimate spell records
The archetype preview groups Coven with Witch, Divine Punishment with Inquisitor and Danse Macabre with Slayer. The individual PTR records describe different actions: Coven responds to specific Witch spell hits, Divine Punishment channels at a nearby enemy, and Danse Macabre delivers a short burst of random strikes. The comparison below uses their individual spell IDs, with the older guide used only for class context.
| Ability | Class context | Listed duration | Distinct effect | Spell ID |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Coven | Witch | 15 seconds | Three named summon attacks trigger similar Coven attacks | 1318891 |
| Divine Punishment | Inquisitor | 6 seconds | Nearest target; ending leap damages enemies within 12 yards | 1318892 |
| Danse Macabre | Slayer | 5 seconds | Random strikes; immunity also lasts 2 seconds afterward | 1327914 |

Coven and its three named triggers
Coven calls a group of witches for fifteen seconds. Its record names Bubbling Cauldron, Winter Spiders and Moonlight Ravens: when those spells strike enemies, the Coven attacks those enemies using a similar spell. The description does not promise that every Witch action produces an extra attack.
The source explicitly marks this description PH, or placeholder. It supplies no tested copy percentage, witch count or practical ultimate recharge time. Use the three named triggers to understand the documented interaction, while leaving a damage rotation open until the active build is known.

Divine Punishment: channel and ending leap
Divine Punishment selects the nearest enemy for a six-second channel. The tooltip grants damage immunity during that channel and describes damage pulses every 0.3 seconds. When the channel completes, the Inquisitor leaps to the chosen enemy and damages enemies within twelve yards.
That ending movement is part of the recorded ability, rather than a free choice of landing point established by this reference. Damage immunity also does not establish immunity to every control effect. The stored coefficients are not used here to claim a tested damage total.

Danse Macabre and the conflicting smoke version
Spell 1327914 describes a five-second flurry of heavy strikes against random enemies. Damage and loss-of-control immunity apply through the effect and for two additional seconds. This agrees with the description transcribed in the November 4 firsthand report.
An October 18 archetype guide instead describes a fifteen-second smoke transformation with speed and damage-reduction effects. These are conflicting preview descriptions. This page follows the linked five-second record and does not combine the two versions into a single ability.

Using the ultimate comparison
Choose a reference by class and spell ID. Coven has a specifically named trigger set; Divine Punishment has a nearest-target channel and a concluding leap; Danse Macabre uses random strikes. Those distinctions are more useful for understanding the buttons than an unsupported ranking.
The ultimate records do not establish final unlock ranks, a shared charge meter or practical recharge times. Check those fields in the current game interface before treating any of these Talebound ultimates as available on a particular run.
Frequently asked questions
Does Coven repeat every Witch spell?
The record names Bubbling Cauldron, Winter Spiders and Moonlight Ravens. It does not establish a trigger for every ability.
Does Divine Punishment make me immune to control effects?
Its tooltip grants damage immunity during the channel. This record does not establish general loss-of-control immunity.
Is Danse Macabre a five- or fifteen-second ability?
The linked spell 1327914 describes a five-second flurry. A separate older preview describes a fifteen-second smoke form; the two descriptions should not be merged.
