Feline Communion begins the transformation

Feline Communion moves the Witch fifteen yards forward and starts a ten-second cat transformation. During that form, stars damage enemies within twenty yards. The same tooltip grants access to Crooked Path and Full Moon, which makes this a temporary ability set rather than a permanent change to the class.

The forward step and nearby damage are separate parts of the action. Repositioning changes where the Witch stands, while the star coverage describes enemies around that new position. The record does not provide a tested damage-per-second total.

Use the Talebound spell IDs when checking this sequence. Full Moon also names an ability elsewhere in World of Warcraft; a matching name is not enough to identify the same action.

Crooked Path and Full Moon have different jobs

Crooked Path provides another forward blink. Its short description does not promise passage through walls, a special immunity window or availability outside cat form. The standalone record contains unusual charge and recharge headers, so those fields are not turned into a practical charge rule here.

Full Moon chooses the nearest enemy within twenty yards, deals a heavy impact around that target and ends the transformation. The record does not specify the splash radius. Using it changes the remaining cat-form sequence because the form ends at that point; an optimal release time has not been established by this wiki.

Read the form as a sequence

The useful order is activation, temporary movement options, then a finisher that can end the form. That explains what each button changes without assuming a complete talent build. Compare the active client tooltip if a talent modifies this sequence, especially if the duration or available actions differ from these PTR records.

Frequently asked questions

Does Feline Communion grant damage immunity?

No immunity is stated in the linked tooltip. A blink and a transformation should not be treated as an immunity effect.

Can Full Moon end cat form early?

The record says Full Moon ends the transformation when used. It does not provide a tested best moment to use the finisher.

Can I use Crooked Path outside cat form?

Feline Communion explicitly grants the ability while transformed. These records do not establish out-of-form availability.
